Push-button imports Push one button to pull all the transactions from your Dynamics GP system If some of your transactions are in another system (say, if you’re transitioning to GP) use the Excel import to bring all those transactions quickly into your reporting solution. The built-in excel template ships with Pickax, so you KNOW you’ll fill in the right fields with the right data, first time. Full import control Pickax lets you choose which companies to import, so you can always ignore test or temp databases.  Don’t wait to import data you don’t want! The more data you pull, the longer it takes.  You choose to pull in only what you need.  Of course, if you ever need to, you can re-import everything by choosing “All Data”. Intelligent aggregation It’s one thing to have data; it’s another to make sense of it.  Having all your transactions in one place, in one currency, is only the first step.  Pickax provides an intuitive (yes, really!) drag & drop interface to help you aggregate your natural and other segments, and companies, into a sensible structure. Colour-coded account list ensures no account is missed, and none are used more than once. Natural accounts are unique to their company, so each Natural/Company combination can be placed in different places on the Account Tree. This is the out-of-the-box Account Tree structure that you drag & drop your accounts into.  You have up to 5 tiers of tree nodes available (only 4 showing) to make sure you can drill into your data intelligently, step by step. All tiers (other than the first 2) may be renamed, moved, deleted, or added to - you have total control over how to display your financial information.  We just get you started with a helpful structure; over 50 nodes are pre-structured so you can get up & running quickly! Similar functionality is provided to organize your dimensional segments (like departments & cost centers) and your Dynamics GP companies.  It’s so easy, you’ll look forward to corporate reorganizations!
